Just about a year ago I wrote a post about how I chose for co.mments to track ‘my conversations’ since it seemed to get the best reviews at that time. I’ve always been a quite happy user of the service since it’s quick and easy but today I switched to something else. Main reason for the switch is the fact that co.mments is slow these days. As a result I checked cocomment again and got to say that that is even a lot easier.
Key thing here is clearly that I didn’t look if there was better until the speed issue appeared, which triggered the eventual switch to a service that is better to begin with. As always it’s easier to keep a customer than to attract a new one.
And yes, I like cocomment already a lot! :)

That’s the exactly the same reason I switched over from del.icio.us to Blinklist to manage my links. But actually Blinklist is down quite a lot nowadays and del.icio.us probably got faster in the mean time.
Once one decides to go for a brand, one hardly re-considers other brands…
I lost interest in cocomment a few weeks after it was launched. I might re-consider using it. Back when it was launched it didn’t really work smoothly.
Absolutely right, and also part of the challenge we face trying to market Live Search ;)
You should definitely take a look at cocomments though, it’s really good, especially with the FF integration… I just wished we had that stuff for IE as well.
