Recycling cartoons in advertising

It’s definitely not the first time a cartoon is used in advertising, but these draw my attention as they were both posted today and both campaigns use cartoon classics to tell the story. Imagine what advertisers will do with Hugh’s work in a couple of years ;)

The first one is for the CrossPolo (The Polo, just a bit wilder) and the second one is for a new Dove hair product. Click on the links below to see more from these campaigns.

  1. Cartoons are great ways to get the attention of your target audience. I see it a lot on video adverts posted on the site Adwido. This advertising technique would be great for people who can draw or can afford to hire a cartoonist.
