We knew it was coming and here it is, MarketingProfs announced the second round of their Book Club. The book CK chose for this review is ‘The Origin of Brands‘ which is not a new book, but not less interesting for that matter. The Origin of Brands blog is on my RSS reader for quite a while and it’s always a good read. It looks like we’re up for an interesting exchange of experiences again, the group review is set for March 20th, be there. If you haven’t joined yet, you can still do so, here is all you need to know about the Book Club.
Hopefully I’ll be able to get the book in time this time, think I’ll buy a used copy at Amazon this time (starting at around $4). I just received a used copy from ‘Made to Stick‘ that I ordered earlier and that looks just fine to me. Fellow Book Clubber Mark Goren points out to Bookcloseouts where you can get it starting at $6 so you might want to take a look at that as well.
See you at the club.
Kris, bookcloseouts.com is a real find. Ordered 18 books there for under $100 US. Unbelievable. And they were all delivered within a week. Very cool.
Looking forward to debating the book with you in March. Cheers, man.
Hi Kris: You can also get an e-copy of the book so you’ll have it in time! It’s $10.95 but no mailing fee. Here’s the URL for that in case your readers are interested:

Thanks for the shout out–can’t wait to chat up the book with you and the other bookworms ;-).
Thanks for the info. I think I’ll give bookcloseouts.com a try as I still prefer a book over an ebook… yes, I guess I’m old fashioned :)
